Does today feel like a borderline day? Do you feel that you can go either way with your day?

Everyone has those days when you feel like giving up but aren’t completely sold. It could be business, it could be your eating or exercise. Whatever the case, they are all the same. The decision you make will alter your life in some way. The verse, Isaiah 41:10 says

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold yo with my righteous right hand.”

The cool part is the one before ” I have chosen you”

If you pray, seek God he will show you what to do and how to do it. Many times we get discouraged because we aren’t “hearing” anything from God and we get so hyper-focused on that, we miss the blessing or direction. Don’t focus on the weightloss, business, finances… but, focus on God. It says in Phil 3:14: Keep your eyes on the prize, do not look at what is behind you but strain toward what is ahead. Press forward to the prize for which God has called YOU.

Like in Proverbs 4:27, “Do not sway left or right but keep your foot from evil”. Meaning do not let your eye wander from what God has you to do, regardless as to what is said. Now, we are to pray because we could be on a path and if the path doesn’t make sense or we are making the wrong decisions and God brings someone into our life to help guide us the right way, we need to be open to that person. As to why, pray without ceasing and to keep your eyes on him.

Only God can move that mountain but it is your faith in him that will move that mountain. You ask, with faith, without swaying and it will be done. But there are some things in which God does give us to teach us a lesson because we just won’t get off of it.

Be careful what you wish for, is the saying. God may grant it but are you ready for the responsibilities it will bring. That’s why in business slow growth is important. (Proverbs 13:11).

The rule 10% applies in running, training, and business. It is the same. Success can happen overnight but rarely is it forever. A hurricane and tornado can rise up in an instant and destroy everything in its path.

Have discipline in your work, be persistent and knowledge to grow your wisdom to make the right choices, pray without ceasing. Do not lean on your own understanding as to why something is going on. Know that you are not in control. But in the same hand, do not worry. Worry is fear, and fear is distrust. Then why pray if all you are going to do is “give it to God” then talk about all the negative that you have, what you don’t have and how you don’t know how you will do it.

If you live alone , don’t have anyone for support. Know that God is your provider, your cheerleader, your dad, your friend. Like a phone call to a person, you have to call on his name. The sparrow has nothing to worry about, for that little bitty thing knows that food will be provided. A child has no fear and goes for it. Sometimes our extended knowledge of the world brings us fear. Fear isn’t real. Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real.

Nothing is impossible for everything is possible through God. You, ” I am Possible” I am possible to do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Go out into the world and change your fears into possible things. Cast your fears far from  your thoughts because it is in your head that you can harm your health, and make you think you can’t do it. Anxiety, worry, fear… are all in your head. Cast out the thought so it doesn’t move down into your heart, to your stomach and make you sick with worry, fear, anxiety… which is the leading cause of so many health issues, stomach, digestive issues.

sunriseToday, put your feet on the floor knowing today is your day to make a change and be the best you can be with what you have, eyes open, ears open like someone on high alert ready for positive change and success.

Whether you believe in God or not, the thing is that Proverbs has a lot of wise advise so does a lot of the bible that makes sense and many apply what is in the bible to life that don’t know they do…. interesting but true.

Love one another.

Guiltless Nutritious Treats

Baking away, daily is what I do. Along with marketing, finance, janitorial, speeches, and so forth.

But, I never thought that my product was touching  the lives of those with eating disorders. One day, I had a woman with her mother come into my bakery in Miami. She proceeds to tell me that she purchased my product at a store in South Beach, FL.

I listened as to hear how the ingredients on the back quinoa, millet, flaxseed meal, chia seeds, protein, apricots, honey plus the information “Why We Use These Ingredients” on the website educated her on how these foods work for her and not against her.

At 26 years and 10 years of bulimia, her mother tells me that she no longer has this problem and has proceeded to start cooking for herself and understanding foods.

We spent a few days together, as for they flew in from Paris, France to meet me. I was honored. I was amazed. It is things like this that keep me going daily as a small business owner. Some can say, well isn’t it money that keeps you going. NO, because we can quit at any time.

That day, 4 people were blessed.

I still keep up with the girl from Paris. I still keep doing what I do.

Healthy Heart, healthy blood sugar levels and Peaches!

The peach is like a beautiful sunset sitting in your hand, the colors ranging from orange to yellow to white blended in a picturesque form. The peach has been at many times in ancient oil paintings as an vibrant contrast.

On the Inside, Peaches having one seed nestled in the brownish red center containing a fleshy, white to yellowish orange with either a fuzzy skin or smooth skin.

The characteristics of the peach have a significant eye-catching health benefits.

The nutritional value of a medium peach contains 75 cal, 6 g sugars, 1g protein, 1 g fiber and incredible amounts of A, B vitamins, E and K, choline (water-soluble, B vitamin family and essential nutrient for the body to convert fats). Healthy hearts contain diets that are rich in potassium and low in sodium; thus the peach contains 200 mg of potassium and 0mg of sodium

So to remember these health benefits without being a scientist. Look at the peach. The rich reds which make up the sunset remind me of my heart. The arterial wall being the color of the pit of the peach, healthy heart.

The skin of the peach being firm let’s me know that eating foods containing high amounts of C will increase my collagen production decreasing the signs of aging. Since the peach is fleshy, it reminds me of the banana which is high in fiber and will move foods through. When eaten with a spinach salad, I know this combination will cleanse my system naturally and gently reducing the risks of colorectal cancer.

Peach with the high amounts of potassium and no sodium which can reduce hypertension. Those with anxiety disorders will find this to very effective when wanting to feel calm. A nice peach tea would be perfect. Rich in antioxidants, the peach will effectively help with the removal of free radicals which has been associated with sun damage, skin cancer, heart disease and other forms of cancers.

The peach has successfully within the tests conducted by the University of Texas,

has been found to reduce LDL(bad cholesterol, help with metabolic issues, fight off obesity (fiber),

help prevent certain cancers, wrinkles in the skin (Vita C),diabetes and heart disease.

Just a side note, diabetes and heart disease go hand-in-hand.

Try peaches in your salad, or muddled into your drink.

Allergens: protein produced in the peach have been associated with those who suffer from tree nut sensitivity.

The tallest mountain in the world Mount Everest, has seen many deaths but since the 90’s the success has nearly tripled.
Why?
Better gear and better guides.

We all have mountains to go over and only 56% are successful. Good part is that many people are becoming more successfully due to better gear and guides.

We constantly have struggles, and those struggles are won over by the resources we have.

There are more self help books than ever before but they mostly are people’s opinions, and studies. Their struggle may or may not help you.
My struggle may or may not help you. However I do suggest that you take a little from everything and with help from Trusted source, custom design your own rope.

God has been an amazing tool in my life.
Many times I have turned to materialistic things or people unfortunately that only satisfied me for the day and I was back or worse than before.
People have their own things going own and their own opinions from their own educational standpoint. But with the educated guide, which is a strong woman or man in Christ and your guidebook, the bible you can conqueror your Mount Everest.

Galatians 6:2-9
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. For each will have to bear his own load.
Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. Do not be deceived:God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

As a business owner, athlete and mother, life is interesting.

There is only one person that will come
Through your life that will really understand you.
That is god. And god knows the needs of your heart. He put your soulmate on this earth to uplift you, that connects with you, that knows you.

Where god put every molecule together, Man and woman become one; who may not understand each other but you love unconditionally each other.

Some will agree, one is greater than 2 and with 2 you can accomplish a whole lot more. Listen, communicate and love so you can grow a better home, a beautiful tomorrow and conqueror the negative of this world.

Actions speak louder than words. No war was won by talking it to death. This is a war of not flesh but against the spirits of this world. Satan wants to come in between you and your loved ones by planting weakness or crazy thoughts.

Don’t act on those thoughts. Instead with action take a bold stand. With me I am fiercely loyal and will fight to the death for my loved ones without hesitation.
If you are single, pray for the person god has for you; even though you haven’t even met them. Or you have met them and you love them and are attracted to them. Either way, Pray circles of protection around that person because if you are going through something more than likely they are going through some things too.

It will get you into practice for praying for and with your future spouse. Man life is a trip… So live it to the fullest, you never know when you will go so be completely in the moment with your loved ones and those who need love.

A hello is sometimes all the love someone needs at that particular moment.
Rock on. Live on. Love all.

My cross fit day starts out by catching the early bus to take my daughter to school but as I hear the rain pour down in South Florida, it motivates me more.

grab my gear, headset, bus pass, light rain coat … its cold in South Florida 67 is cold.

She arrives at school 7:40 am… I kiss her goodbye and head out with the Miami motivational sounds of Pitbull and JLo. I run my goal.. not distance, not really time but to beat the bus back to my house.

I run. Rain coming down… it eventually stops. I warm up, taking off my rain coat and continue to run… looking over my shoulder. I see the bus coming towards me, good now I know I have at lease 25 minutes before that bus catches me. Game on.

I run through the grass, stop lights (well after stopping for traffic)… passing women waiting on the bus. I smoke pass up the hill, over the bridge… the sun rises the body temp, sweat pouring off my body.

The sun is getting higher in the day. The motivation of the horns honking, not even knowing if it is for me… I don’t care- but I act like it is. Pushing harder. I look over my shoulder from time to time- I need a rear view mirror!

Passing LA Fitness and heading through town… No Bus still – awesome!

I sprint through the last light- forward home! Sprint to my street.

Now its time for abs and since you don’t want to lay down right after a hard run- for a quarter of a mile I do knee ups- to get the lower abs. I am excited as I post my post workout pic on Instagram. Fit.

At 36 I never knew that I would be in this good of shape. I thank God every day for my health and I hope that I can inspire others to understand all you need is the motivation, time management and the rest is passion. Get out there and make a difference and make your own story. Inspire yourself… inspire others.

Only person stopping you is you.

For breakfast I had my favorite- scrambled eggs and toast. For snack- yogurt. For lunch peanut butter and honey with banana.. I may be from Memphis and yep, we actually eat fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches. .. dinner will be a spinach salad- with red bell pepper, croutons, dressing, banana peppers, black beans (protein) no breads now… its after 2pm and not running anymore today.

I am on a budget but it doesn’t stop me from eating right, working out and getting the job done.

If I can do it- know that you can do it !
